The home featured here belongs to a young family in Pune, who wanted a comfortable home with personal space for every member of the family as well as for guests. The interior designers and decorators of Homagica Services Private Ltd designed the house, keeping in mind the family’s requirements, but with a designer’s touch. The design of the spacious multi-floor independent bungalow is optimised to benefit from natural light during the day. However, the designers have also included artificial lighting to keep the home warm and cosy even when the evening descends.
The smart combination of stone, glass and concrete in the facade makes the home stunning when viewed from the curb. French windows on each floor ensure the unobstructed flow of light and air. The clear glass railing on the balconies adds elegance to the exterior facade, and for the resident, it provides a clear view of the outdoors, when sitting in the balcony.
The contemporary combination of steel and glass in the guardrail gives the stairs an elegant appearance. The space under the stairs has been used to build storage units, but the open design leaves enough space for the area to double up as seating space or to place the TV. The popping red colour of the wall cabinet grabs attention.
The beautiful crystal chandelier hanging above the staircase lights up space and enhances the classiness of the decor.
The L-shaped kitchen has ample storage provided by a combination of wall-mounted and floor-standing kitchen cabinets. The handleless shutters give the kitchen a modern and minimalist feel. The use of orange laminate creates a bright contrast that adds a vibrant note to the ambience in the kitchen.
