The Courtyard Home by Architecture Continuous, Architects in Bangalore, is a beautiful example of the wonders of modern architecture. Less like a home, and more like a masterpiece, this home features a central courtyard that also doubles as the family’s living room. Let’s take a walk through this stunning home.
The first look of the modern house is through these stunning glass walls, which are present everywhere in the house. There are no concrete walls, just glass partitions, in order to keep up the illusion of one giant space. The exterior is concrete flooring, while the interior uses marble for the flooring.
We love this layout. In order to allow the light from the skylight to filter into the home, the space in the middle has been left open, creating an indoor courtyard. On the top floor, there is a small seating area, a library and a glass balcony that looks down into the main living area.
We absolutely love the idea of having a swimming pool in the house. The décor is quite modern and the soft lighting just adds to the charm of the pool and the entire area.
The home is fully equipped with all modern amenities one might require. There is a fully functioning swimming pool, along with a state of the art gym with all the necessary equipment. The roof is not your usual concrete; it contains wooden designs, which also allow air and light to circulate through the home.
The classic swimming pool is located in one part of the courtyard. During the day, the giant skylights allow beautiful sunlight to filter through. This is like having your very own oasis in the middle of the city.
The stunning wooden furniture is visible throughout the home. Wood, in conjunction with glass and marble, creates a stunning overall effect. This TV cabinet is simple and stylish. There is a wooden backdrop with the wall-mounted TV. There is a set of cabinets in the bottom in order to store all accessories properly. The wooden panel is flanked on both sides by beautiful marble slabs.
The living area is spectacular. We are in awe of the overall design. There are comfy white sofas scattered through the area. The modern living room is located right below the skylights. There is an Indian style swing in the living area as well. From here, we can see the elegant wooden furniture used throughout the home.
There is brightness everywhere in the house. This is entirely due to the elevation and the design created by the very talented team of designers. The use of glass creates such a beautiful open space that one wouldn’t want to visit a hotel! The indoor landscaping has also been done with a lot of care.
The second floor enjoys easy access to the ground floor via the balcony that goes around the entire home. We love the wooden bridges used to go from one part of the house to the other.
